The tire gauge indicated a low tire.
We were just heading back to the hotel at 1am after a spectacular shut out stripe out game PSU over Indiana.
I told hubby to go to bed, because I believe that everything is a little easier to deal with after some sleep.
In the morning, he discovered a screw in the tire.
On Sunday.
Not around the corner from home.
With the hotel staff’s assistance, I tracked down the local Pep Boys, who so rock and squeezed us in at 10:30am.
Usually we’re on the road first thing, but the delay meant hanging out in downtown State College for a couple of hours.
Our walkabout resulted in a serendipitous Nittany Lion spotting in front of the Bookstore.
Hooray!
We had to slow down.
Life doesn’t always have to be rush and zip.
Even during a ‘crisis’.
Fixed tire, safe family, fun morning!
We are!

 Because I walk my walk.
 Literally and figuratively.
And walking is soooo good for my super fast brain.
